I’m a 30-something former Cantabrian living the dream in Tauranga with my gorgeous husband and young family. I know what it's like to be on the hunt for a celebrant who just feels right. Having found one for my own wedding, I also know just how memorable and moving an experience it is to be part of a bespoke ceremony delivered by the perfect person.

In 2015 when I decided I wanted to be a celebrant, I realised that this amazing job brings together many of my absolute favourite things. At school I was the girl who adored public speaking competitions, who signed up for every single theatre production and who waded straight into interschool debating contests. Fast forward a few years and my early career as a newspaper journalist evolved into one as a corporate communications specialist. You could say that I’ve done rather a lot of writing, interviewing and presenting (on camera, on air and hopefully always on point). I have a knack for helping people articulate and express their ideas, and a Certificate in Celebrant Studies for good measure.

Celebrating is a dream I pursue out of passion. I love meeting and working with people, and you’ll find me friendly, enthusiastic and supportive. In striving to understand you and what you require, I will listen to your ideas and encourage your input through insightful questions. Armed with this intel, I then employ my writing skills to craft a ceremony that artfully captures it all. And once we have this refined and perfected to your satisfaction? Relax alongside your guests and delight in seeing your celebration flawlessly and fabulously unfold.
